Putting Edge Outing - February 22nd, 2022

Our first PROBUS social function of the year was a trip to Putting Edge in Whitby. There were 30 members who were eager to get out and socialize again. We had a great time challenging ourselves on the colourful mini putt course. A few cheers were heard as people scored those rare Hole in Ones!! (Overshadowed by the moans of those who just missed the hole)

St. Lawrence Market - May 25 th.

Ten PROBUS members joined Bruce Bell of Bruce Bell tours at the St. Lawrence Market and learned about the history of the market, and the surrounding area.  Did you know the Market housed a jail in the basement of the building?  Bruce was an excellent tour guide, and his knowledge of the area was exceptional! The group then enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Hot House Restaurant. Bruce also runs tours of The Distillery district and the Yorkville area.  We may consider arranging one of these tours for next year!
